Q. 1 What is Model United Nations?
The Model United Nations is a simulating mock setup wherein students from various schools come together and learn, discuss, debate and talk about Diplomacy, International Relations and also gain a better and wider understanding of how the actual United Nations functions.
With our events, we are attempting to bring to life all the textbook knowledge about the UN, thus making education, a lot more fun, interactive and also giving students a larger and deeper perspective of the way our world works.
Q: 2 How does this work?
The participating students are called Delegates and they are placed into various committees like UNGA, UNHRC and so forth. They are then assigned a member country each and are made to address current affairs and problems of our world today. These include Peace Making Treaties, Human Rights, Regional Conflicts, Economic and Social Problems and more.
We acknowledge exemplary candidates at the end of the debates and felicitate good performances with awards.

MUN’s are an emerging concept worldwide, as they help inculcate as sense of leadership and diplomacy within students. Not just that, they also help them learn more about World Politics and help in polishing their Public Speaking Skills. The extensive research and teamwork required during the event will also be an added advantage for the participating students.
